Job Description

Lead New Services Short Description Engineering and Design Role in Core Services across Wireline & Wireless. Design, Develop or modify processes for deploying large-scale, carrier grade applications for creating an agile telecom 4G & 5G network spread across multiple data centers. Will work closely with partner’s Pre-sales/Sales/Product teams on new solutions offerings. Key Responsibilities 1. Thought Leadership & Strategic Thinking for Data/Voice solutions in telecom 2. Drive OEMs for developing products/features as per Airtel’s requirements 3. Good analytical experience in 5G Services to establish precise problematic areas and solutions, features associated with parameters, and further able to tune them as per network requirement 4. Ability to analyze complex problems & to present concepts clearly. 5. Manage and ensure timely delivery of solution documentation. 6. Create relevant charters, scope, high-level designs, ATP & NFA documents, and getting consensus / Sign-offs from Management 7. Provide innovative features and customizations for Business requirements and base-lining of version status Experience & Skills 1-5 years of experience in the Core domain with at least 1 years’ experience in product/system design of packet core/data services products like 5G Core, EPC, VoLTE/IMS,. Should have delivered new products and services to the market and should have a keen grasp of competition, international market & Diverse Technologies as well. Experience in developing next generation protocol stacks by converting the Business needs into products and service deliveries. Telecom Technology call flows preferably Voice/Data/SMS in any generation. Preferential exposure to IT subsystems, interfaces, charging (IN/ OCS), Mediation (Billing/OFCS), Provisioning, Business Intelligence. Expertise to interact with the highly competent representatives of Strategic partners and other vendors of International repute. Knowledge on the network protocols i.e. OSPF, m/e BGP, TCP, UDP, SIP, HTTP/2, GTP, TLS, Diameter etc. Sound understanding of Cloud environment and technologies like RH Open Stack / /VMware/Docker/Containers/Kubernetes/RH Openshift
