Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a talented individual to join their Engineering Group as a Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable internal tools using Python and advanced web frameworks like Flask, RestAPI, and Django. Your duties will include deploying and maintaining these tools across enterprise environments to ensure reliability and performance. You will also integrate the tools into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps to enhance engineering workflows. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to build interactive dashboards and automate business processes using Power BI and Power Automate. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions will be a key aspect of this role. As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be expected to maintain comprehensive documentation, provide user training and support, and work independently with minimal supervision. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset will be essential to tackle challenges effectively. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant work experience. Additionally, a minimum of 2+ years of experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python is required. The successful candidate for this position will have an experience range of 6 to 9 years and possess expertise in AI-based tool development and leveraging AI for development activities. Strong proficiency in Python, automation, and backend development is a must, along with hands-on experience in frontend development using tools like Flask, FastAPI, or Django. Familiarity with CI/CD tools, deployment in enterprise environments, Power BI, Power Automate, cloud platforms, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable. A self-driven individual with the ability to work independently and a strong problem-solving mindset will excel in this role. While not mandatory, a basic understanding of C/C++ and willingness to learn advanced concepts to support engineering development, as well as knowledge or experience in embedded software development, would be considered advantageous.
