As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. About The Role 1-2 Years work experience in embedded software and/or driver development. Candidate should be detail-oriented and have strong analytical and debugging skills, strong communication skills (written and verbal), working with teams across multiple time zones.Extremely strong knowledge of C/C++ programming is mandatory. Have working knowledge on Device Driver Programming in Linux/ RTOS like QNX /Greenhills etc.Fluent in industry standard software development toolsdebuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs and build tools Additional About The Role Solid working knowledge of Android versions, thorough understanding of Android Display Framework, Composer HAL, DRM-KMS, OpenWFD standard or any other display driver.Excellent knowledge of Display HW processing and various RGB & YUV display color format.Experience in embedded display driver implementation.
