Responsibilities Design and implement cloud security solutions using AWS services, ensuring compliance with industry standards Design and implement microservice based solutions using Serverless and Containerization services. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline security processes and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to alerts, conduct investigations and implement corrective actions, as required. Stay up to date with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Create and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members on cloud security and compliance practices. Key Skills Bachelor/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS services and cloud security. Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation and scripting. Hands-on experience with working on Python Automation testing using Unit tests and BDDs. In-depth knowledge of AWS security services (AWS Lambda, AWS IAM, S3, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, Step Functions) is a must. Experience with microservice and containerization in AWS using Amazon EKS is a plus. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation. Strong understanding of networking, encryption, and security protocols in cloud environments. Basic understanding of tools like Jenkins, artifactory is required. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS) are a plus. Experience on the AI services in the AWS environment in a plus. The Innovations teams primary job is to build new, innovative applications using AI and analytics, with the goal of helping our customers effectively and efficiently deliver experience as a service (XaaS). Job Summary Responsible for architecting, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining AWS applications. Troubleshoots and solves software issues related to Genesys Innovation Applications. Research technical problems and suggests improvements for applications. Computer Science major preferred. 5 years or more of commercial software development experience in node.js, Javascript, C#, Java where an additional language such as Python, PHP or C++ is a benefit. Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Knowledge of deep learning architectures and techniques. Familiarity with cloud platforms and services for AI model deployment . Experience with deploying software, administrative procedures and configuration for Windows and Linux operating environments. Ability to work independently on routine duties or projects with general instructions on new assignments. Excellent verbal, writing skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients (business and technical audiences) in the English language is a must. Having similar capabilities in other major European languages is a plus. Demonstrate solid analytical programming and problem-solving skills including software operation diagnostics. Must be able to present examples of candidate written technical documentation such as technical design specifications, user guides or deployment manuals. Optimize billable utilization opportunity. The role of this Data/AWS engineer will be to develop data pipelines for specialty instrument data and Gen AI processes, support the development of classification and prediction models, create and maintain dashboards to monitor data health, and set up and maintain services in AWS to deploy models, and collect results. These pipelines will be part of foundational emerging data infrastructure for the company. We seek someone with a growth mindset who is self-motivated, a problem solver, and someone energized by working at the nexus of leading-edge software and hardware development. This position will follow a hybrid model work approach( 3 days a week , Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday working from GCC office, RMZ ecoworld, Bellandur, Bangalore). • Build data pipelines in AWS using S3, Lambda, IoT core, EC2, and other services. • Create and maintain dashboards to monitor data health. • Containerize models and deploy them to AWS • Build python data pipelines that can handle data frames and matrices, ingest, transform, and store data using pythonic code practices. • Maintain codebase: use OOP and/or FP best practices, write unit tests, etc. • Work with Machine Learning engineers to evaluate data and models, and present results to stakeholders in a manner understandable to non-data scientists. • Mentor and review code of other members of the team. Required Qualifications: Bachelors in computer science or related field and at least 8 years relevant work experience, or equivalent. • Solid experience in AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and IAM. • Experience containerizing and deploying code in AWS. • Proficient writing OOP and/or functional programming code in Python (e.g., numpy, pandas, scipy, scikit-learn). • Comfortable with Git version control, as well as BASH or command prompt. • Comfortable discovering and driving new capabilities, solutions, and data best practices from blogs, white papers, and other technical documentation. • Able to communicate results using meaningful metrics and visualizations to managers and stakeholders and receive feedback. Desired (considered a plus) Qualifications: Experience with C#, C++ and .NET.
