The L2 NOC Engineer will be responsible for in-depth troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and advanced incident handling, ensuring network stability and optimal performance. The role requires strong technical expertise to resolve escalated issues and collaborate with L3 engineers for complex problem resolution.
- Strong networking expertise (TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs). - Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or Zabbix. - Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation (preferred). - Deep understanding of security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM solutions). - Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing network and system-related issues. - Ability to mentor L1 engineers and support escalated issues efficiently.
- CCNP or equivalent advanced networking certification. - ITIL certification for structured incident and service management. - Security certifications like CEH, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+(preferred).
