Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Continental Cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing high-quality European dishes and a deep understanding of kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Continental dishes, including French, Italian, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisine.
• Supervise and guide junior chefs and commis to ensure kitchen standards are upheld.
• Assist with daily and seasonal menu planning alongside the Sous/Head Chef.
• Manage a specific section of the kitchen and ensure efficient operation during service hours.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, reduce wastage, and support cost control measures.
• Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CDP or Senior CDP in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
• Expertise in Continental cuisine is mandatory.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of European cooking techniques, sauces, plating, and flavor profiles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a small team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Flexible, creative, and adaptive to new menu trends.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of baking, grilling, and sauté techniques.
• Experience with modern plating and fusion cuisine.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural team setting.
