Junior Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, data entry, invoice processing, and financial record maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day accounting operations , including journal entries, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions . Handle accounts payable and receivable . Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports . Assist in monthly and annual financial closings . Help with bank reconciliations and monitor cash flows . Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. Maintain digital and physical financial records in an organized manner. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance . 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role. Proficiency in MS Excel , Tally ERP , Farvision, or any other accounting software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Basic knowledge of GST, TDS , and Indian accounting standards. Familiarity with banking procedures and reconciliations .
