About the Company: Pradhan Industries is a well-known and trusted graphite mining and processing company based in Odisha, with over 40 years of legacy. We operate mess facilities and staff quarters at our plant sites, where nutritious and hygienic food is served daily to our workforce. To support this, we are hiring an experienced, sincere, and disciplined Male Cook for our staff mess. Position: Male Cook Key Job Responsibilities: Cook daily meals for around 50 people , including breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner . Prepare non-spicy, less oily, healthy, and homely-style food suited for daily consumption. Provide variety in meals with a rotating weekly menu covering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes such as dal, rice, roti, sabzi, chicken curry, egg curry, khichdi, upma, poha, paratha, pakoda, and tea. Ensure top-level hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, utensil washing area, dining space, and storage rooms. Wash and cut vegetables, clean meat, and prepare all ingredients properly before cooking. Use cooking gas, stove, and kitchen tools safely and carefully. Follow all food safety and hygiene rules (wash hands frequently, use gloves/apron/cap as required). Maintain personal hygiene (clean dress, trimmed nails, daily bath, etc.). Work closely with the mess supervisor or Welfare Incharge to: Plan daily and weekly menus. Prepare the list of required groceries and raw materials. Monitor ration stock and ensure timely refilling. Keep record of daily consumption and suggest improvements in the menu or stock if needed. Avoid food wastage by using ingredients wisely and serving in proper portions. Ensure proper storage of raw and cooked food in clean containers. Maintain cleanliness of utensils, gas stove, fridge, sink, and cooking area after every meal. Help in washing utensils or managing dishwashing staff if required. Be punctual, respectful, hardworking, and disciplined at all times. Be self-motivated and able to work independently or with limited support. Be available during special company functions or festivals to prepare festive meals or manage bulk cooking. Must be ready to stay at the site full-time , if required by management. Eligibility Criteria: Male candidate with minimum 3–5 years of experience in a mess, canteen, hostel, or staff kitchen. Must have experience in bulk cooking for 40–60 people. Should be able to cook nutritious, homely meals with low spice and oil content. Must be physically fit, neat, clean, and willing to stay at the plant site if needed. Must be hardworking, disciplined, honest , and committed to hygiene. As part of our operational growth, we are hiring a dynamic and experienced Production Incharge to oversee day-to-day production and labour management at our beneficiation plants. Position: Production Incharge Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Monitoring: Supervise the entire beneficiation process , including both wet and dry sections – crushing, screening, grinding, flotation, filtration, drying, and packaging. Monitor daily production targets and ensure smooth, continuous operations. Maintain proper shift-wise reporting , output tracking, and downtime records. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and despatch teams to ensure aligned operations. Labour & Workforce Management: Directly manage and guide a team of plant operators, helpers, loaders, and contract labour . Plan daily manpower allocation across various production sections. Ensure workers follow shift schedules , safety protocols, and work discipline. Resolve on-ground issues, ensure fair treatment, and motivate team for better productivity. Conduct toolbox talks or morning briefings to communicate daily goals and precautions. Wet Section Operations: Supervise operations like grinding, agitation, flotation, and dewatering . Check slurry flow, reagent mixing, froth performance, and pump operations. Ensure proper use of water and reagents to maximize recovery and efficiency. Dry Section Operations: Oversee filtering, drying, sieving, and packing of finished graphite products. Maintain moisture control, correct bagging weights, and batch labeling. Coordinate with the QC/lab team for grade verification and packaging instructions. Production Quality & Coordination: Ensure consistent output quality as per specifications. Monitor raw material input vs final product recovery and report deviations. Liaise with store, quality control, electrical, and mechanical teams for real-time issue resolution. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of daily production, labour attendance, material consumption , and downtime logs . Submit shift and daily reports to Plant Head / Operations Manager . Monitor raw material stock and raise indents in advance to avoid disruptions. Safety, Cleanliness & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols , PPE usage, and emergency practices. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness across production areas. Report hazards and enforce basic housekeeping routines among workers. Eligibility Criteria: Diploma / ITI / B.Sc. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Mineral Processing / Industrial preferred). Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in graphite, coal, iron ore , or similar beneficiation plants . Strong knowledge of wet and dry processing operations . Proven track record in labour management and shift handling . Physically fit and mentally alert – ready to take up challenges during breakdowns or emergencies. Willing to work in rotational shifts and stay at or near the plant location. Preferred Qualities: Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to handle pressure and meet production deadlines. Position: Staff Welfare Officer Key Responsibilities:Mess & Food Services Management: Oversee the daily operations of the staff mess , ensuring timely preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Ensure meals are healthy, hygienic, non-spicy, less oily , and suited to the workforce's dietary needs. Maintain a rotating weekly menu , collect staff feedback, and ensure quality improvement. Supervise kitchen staff, monitor cleanliness of the cooking and dining area , and ensure proper utensil hygiene. Handle and resolve any food complaints or emergencies promptly. Cook & Welfare Staff Hiring & Induction: Identify, screen, and recruit cooks, kitchen helpers, housekeeping staff , and other support workers as needed. Supervise daily cleaning of rooms, washrooms, corridors, and common spaces. Address plumbing, electrical, water supply, and minor repair issues in coordination with maintenance staff. Ensure sanitation, pest control , and upkeep of living spaces. Health, Safety & First Aid Support: Monitor any illness or health complaints among staff and take immediate action. Maintain a stock of basic medicines, ORS, and first-aid supplies at all sites. Arrange transport to clinics/hospitals if needed and maintain proper records of health incidents. Support injured or sick workers with care, coordination, and follow-ups. Welfare Monitoring & Employee Support: Be the go-to person for all staff-related welfare needs—food, stay, health, hygiene, or grievances. Maintain a suggestion and complaint register ; take action on genuine feedback. Organize festive meals or special arrangements on holidays and company occasions. Maintain cordial relations with staff , creating a respectful and comfortable work environment. Eligibility Criteria: Graduate or Diploma with 5–10 years of experience in welfare management, HR support, or hospitality roles. Prior experience in site-based industries like mining, construction, or manufacturing is preferred. Strong ability to manage cooks, mess staff, cleaners, and support workers .
