The successful candidate will teach occupational skills and knowledge to provide students with the competence to become skilled in the field and to secure a job in their new career; demonstrate occupational materials, tools, equipment, and processes using standard and/or instructor-prepared aides per state requirements; instruct students in the appropriate safety precautions and the safe operation and use of tools and equipment per state requirements and manufacturer; control the storage, maintenance, and use of materials and property to prevent loss or abuse; and establish and maintain standards of student conduct to provide an orderly, safe, and productive environment in a hands-on activity classroom setting. This position reports to the program director, Sonja McCall-Strehlow and the Department Head, Applied Technology and Professional Services. Requires being available for both morning and evening classes . Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from a regionally accredited institution with a Facials Certification/License. Licensed in the field of facials for at least six years, a two-year degree with four years’ experience, a four-year degree with two years’ experience, or a master’s degree with one year experience. Proficiency with various types of facials modalities, have a clear understanding of OSHA and sanitization rules and regulations, plus job safety. Must have reliable transportation.
