Typical responsibilities:
Selecting the right AWS services for solutions.
Designing VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network connectivity.
Planning for disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and data backup.
Ensuring security compliance and governance.
Cost optimization of infrastructure.
Skillset:
Strong architectural thinking and design patterns.
In-depth understanding of AWS services at the architecture level.
Experience with network design, storage options, and compute choices.
Often work on creating architecture diagrams and guiding engineering teams.
