Job Description

Department : Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT)
We are seeking dynamic Integration Engineers at both Degree and Diploma levels to support our Assembly, Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVV) activities for satellite systems. The ideal candidates will be collaborative, analytical, and driven to deliver high-quality integration outcomes across multidisciplinary aerospace projects.
Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive spacecraft test architectures aligned with mission requirements and platform capabilities
  • Develop integration sequences, define test trees and establish validation checkpoints that synchronize with mission-critical timelines
  • Be well versed with verification efforts across all spacecraft subsystems through deployment readiness
  • Execute components, subsystems and full spacecraft environmental qualification campaigns

Technical Leadership

  • Spearhead anomaly investigations, implementing systematic troubleshooting methodologies
  • Direct junior test engineers while establishing technical standards and best practices
  • Interface with cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into verification strategies
  • Represent test engineering in design reviews and customer technical demonstrations

Test Systems Development

  • Design, implement and maintain sophisticated test platforms including mechanical and electrical ground support equipment
  • Establish and maintain environmental test capabilities (Thermal, Vacuum, Vibration, EMC/EMI)
  • Develop automation frameworks that enhance test efficiency and repeatability
  • Configure flight software test environments and hardware-in-the-loop simulation systems

Program Management

  • Manage test asset allocation across multiple simultaneous spacecraft development programs
  • Create and maintain detailed verification plans, procedures, and compliance matrices
  • Generate technical documentation including test reports, anomaly assessments, and verification evidence
  • Balance resource constraints while ensuring comprehensive test coverage
Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelos degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • 8+ years of direct spacecraft or high-reliability systems test experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in environmental test methods (thermal cycling, vacuum testing, vibration)
  • Experience with electronic test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies)
  • Strong understanding of spacecraft architecture and subsystem interaction (Command & Data Handling, Power, Communications, Attitude Control)
  • Proven ability to develop test procedures that validate complex functional requirements
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Experience operating in cleanroom environments and handling flight hardware

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in relevant engineering discipline
  • 8+ years aerospace test engineering experience
  • Expertise in test automation development and implementation
  • Familiarity with RF testing methodologies and equipment
  • Experience with spacecraft harness design review and testing
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD systems for mechanical GSE development
  • Knowledge of networking protocols relevant to spacecraft communication
  • Experience with real-time embedded software testing
  • Background in data acquisition system design and implementation

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of system integration, test automation, and verification tools.
  • Familiarity with programming and scripting languages for test automation.
  • Understanding of hardware-software co-verification and test data handling.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in high-paced, collaborative environments.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and driven to meet mission and customer requirements.
Beneficial Experience/ Skills
  • Masters or PhD in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, aerospace, or other engineering degree
  • Experience with environmental testing, such as thermal vacuum or random vibration testing
  • 8+ years of professional experience as a test engineer in the aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of satellite subsystems (CDH, ADCS, EPS, and COMM)
  • Experience working in a clean room and with ESD-sensitive equipment
  • Hands-on experience using electrical test equipment (PSU, Oscilloscope, DMM, etc.)
  • Exposure to designing and implementing test systems for electronics
  • Understanding of sensors, signal conditioning and data acquisition electronics
  • Familiarity with spacecraft harness design and best practices
  • Experience with 3D CAD software
  • Experience with RF testing and hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Basic knowledge of networking
