Location: India (Pan-India travel required)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an accomplished and highly driven India Sales Head to lead our business development efforts across the region. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of proven success in technology sales, preferably in software services, engineering, or R&D domains. A background in medical devices, industrial automation, or storage technologies will be considered a strong advantage.

This leadership role requires excellent strategic thinking, client relationship management, and the ability to lead complex sales cycles. The candidate should also be comfortable engaging with CXO-level stakeholders and driving business growth across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth across India.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence, networking, and proactive outreach.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including client presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (delivery, pre-sales, marketing, and leadership) to align solutions with client needs.
  • Achieve and exceed defined sales targets and KPIs consistently.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to enhance visibility and credibility.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Engineering graduate; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in B2B technology sales, with a focus on software/engineering/R&D services.
  • Domain Expertise: Exposure to Medical Devices, Industrial Automation, or Storage is highly desirable.
  • Strong network across industry verticals and proven ability to open doors at senior decision-making levels.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
