As a Consultant, Technology Engineer, you deliver standard and custom supportable technology products. The solutions you build are based on Customers architectural standards, technology roadmaps, industry trends and business requirements. Youll focus on collaboration, data, systems, storage, middleware, network, security and contact center technology products. Must have experience with IBM and zOS, as these are critical for the role. VTL Refresh: will be involved in a VTL refresh, which may drive the need for a new provider of VTL technology. License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications or designation are not required, but encouraged (i.e., AWS, Azure, scripting and development languages, delivery methods, security). Experience: Six years or more’ experience with the most complex integrated solutions with an ability to design and develop and modify new and existing solutions for specialized needs. Mainframe Storage Systems Programmer Position Summary Provide premium Mainframe Storage system programming support and services to Ensono mainframe clients. The successful candidate will work on storage infrastructure administration, configuration, and installation. This encompasses DASD, tape, virtual tape, encryption, and replication for backup and DR capabilities. The associate will perform software and hardware refreshes, customer migrations and daily customer support. Key Areas of Focus for this Role Fulfill customer service requests for mainframe customers in a timely manner as they pertain to Mainframe Storage administration and related products Provide DASD and tape storage administration support for our customers. Manage storage pools for multiple customers and LPARs. Perform problem diagnostics and resolution. Create and oversee jobs for daily, weekly, and monthly backups.
