Job Description

As the HRBP Manager at Amgen India - Human Resources in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in serving as a strategic partner to the business. Your primary responsibility will be to provide HR expertise and ensure the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business objectives. By collaborating with the HR team, supporting management and employees, and driving HR projects and processes, you will enhance organizational effectiveness and boost employee satisfaction. Your duties will include partnering with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that support Amgen's business goals. You will identify and evaluate current and future training needs, support workforce planning, and oversee talent acquisition processes to recruit high-quality candidates. Additionally, you will implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, performance management, and career development programs, to develop and retain high-potential employees. In the realm of performance management, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the performance appraisal system, monitoring and reporting on workforce and succession planning metrics, and delivering performance improvement plans as necessary. Moreover, you will identify training needs, collaborate with training providers to design and deliver effective training programs, and promote continuous learning opportunities to enhance employee skills. Collaborating with the compensation and benefits team, you will ensure alignment on compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness and alignment with company objectives. You will conduct regular market analysis to benchmark compensation and benefits practices and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in this area. Your role will also involve leading and managing change initiatives related to organizational structure, culture, and business processes. You will provide coaching and support to managers and employees during periods of change and develop and maintain HR metrics and reports to inform business decisions. To excel in this position, you are expected to have a minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, along with a Masters degree in Human Resources. You should possess strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations in India, experience with HRIS and other HR software, and a proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues. Additionally, you should exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
