Hiring For EHS - High rise construction

Responsibilities Key Result Areas:

1. Ensure that the Health & Safety policies, standards and procedures set by the company/ client and in relation to the site operations and all its activities.

2. Provide advice to the project site team on Health, safety and environmental issues.

3. Monitor statutory compliance by carrying out regular inspections and auditing the construction site

4. Assist with the project team in risk identification, evaluation and development of safe work procedures.

5. Assist in HSE training and awareness to staff, operatives and contractors, ensure training needs are identified and implemented.

6. Undertake regular inspection and prepare a quantitative report for submittal to the contractors project manager and the synergy project in charge of site.

7. Report immediately to the contractor’s senior management of any serious safety breaches that place workers in potential life-threatening situations.

8. Advise the requirements for site welfare and carry out regular inspections of the facilities reporting any concerns to the contractor’s project manager.

9. Conduct him professionally at all times and ensure that the advice he gives the employer is to the best of his ability.

10. Undertake the lead role in all accident investigations and ensure that a written investigation report is provided to H&S for all reportable accidents.

11. Ensure site safety meetings are held regularly and results recorded.

12. Assist with the establishments and maintenance of emergency preparations and response plan.

Expected Skills Sets & Experience:

1. Min 6 to 12 years of experience in high rise construction sector.
2. Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or science graduate.
3. Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS / PDIS) (one year duration) approved from CLI RLI, State Board of Technical Education & AICTE approved and recognized under State Factories Rules , BOCW Central Rules Diploma in Construction Safety Management from NICMAR
