Head of Events

As the Production Head at our event management company, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the production and execution of various events. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the events industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality events of different scales and formats. Your main responsibilities will include managing the entire event production process, from initial planning to on-ground execution and post-event closure. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to guarantee the flawless execution of all events. Building and maintaining a strong vendor network while implementing cost-effective production practices will be crucial. Furthermore, you will be in charge of negotiating vendor contracts and rates to optimize margins and ensure top-quality output. Conducting site recces, risk assessments, and developing detailed production plans and timelines are essential tasks. Compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards across all event executions will be a top priority. Managing production budgets to meet defined timelines and cost limits, as well as training and mentoring the production team and on-ground crew to maintain high operational standards, are key aspects of this role. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in event production within the events/experiential marketing industry. Strong vendor connections and exceptional negotiation skills are required. In-depth knowledge of event production elements such as staging, sound, lighting, fabrication, permissions, and logistics is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management capabilities are also necessary, along with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates who have worked in reputed event agencies and are well-connected within the local and national vendor ecosystem will be given preference.
