Job Description


Hardware Engineer will be responsible to design, develop, and optimize electronic hardware for HVAC, process controllers, industrial automation, and PLC-based systems. The role involves working on controllers, sensors, actuators, power systems, and communication modules, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development: Develop circuits for HVAC controllers, process controllers, and industrial automation systems.
  • Prototyping, Component Validation & Testing: Build, test, debug, and optimize hardware prototypes, various Components.
  • Sensor & Power Management: Integrate temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors; design power supply circuits (SMPS, DC-DC converters).
  • Communication Systems: Implement hardware for RS-485 (Modbus RTU), BACnet, CAN, Ethernet, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
  • Compliance & Testing:
    1. Conduct EFT, EMI/EMC testing to ensure regulatory compliance.
    2. Ensure hardware meets safety and regulatory standards (UL, CE, RoHS).
    3. Develop and maintain hardware design, testing, and quality control documentation.
    4. Execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
  • PLC & Industrial Automation: Design and integrate hardware for PLC-based systems and industrial automation.
  • Collaboration: Work with embedded software, mechanical, and PCB design teams to ensure seamless integration.
Required Skills
  • Hardware Design: Circuit design (Analog/Digital), power electronics, embedded systems.
  • Hardware knowledge for Industrial Protocols like Modbus, RS-485, BACnet, CAN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART.
  • EFT, EMI/EMC Compliance: Testing, debugging, and mitigation techniques.
  • Testing & Tools: Experience with circuit simulation (LTSpice, PSpice) and lab equipment (oscilloscope, MultiMeter).
Qualifications
  • Education: B.E./B. Tech in Electronics /Instrumenting/E&TC Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in hardware design and testing for HVAC, process controllers, industrial automation, and PLC applications, including EFT, EMI/EMC testing will be preferred.
