Job Description Background of role: Responsible for Preparation and review of Statement of Asset and Liabilities, Statement of Operations, Statement of Changes in Net Assets, Cash Flow Statement, Schedule of Investment, Financial Highlights and Notes to Financial Statements of various fund structure like standalone, Master feeder, fund of fund etc. under US-GAAP / IRFS. The role is a good blend of product knowledge and its impact on Financial Statement and usage of technology. The ideal candidate will manage the deliverables independently, be a backup for the team, perform conversion, if any and assist juniors in team for query resolution. The role requires the ability to work under tight deadlines, maintain quality delivery as per standard operating procedures along with excellent communication skills. Position Responsibilities: The role will involve the following critical activities: Preparation and review of Statement of Asset and Liabilities, Statement of Operations, Statement of Changes in Net Assets, Cash Flow Statement, Schedule of Investment, Financial Highlights and Notes to Financial Statements of various fund structure like standalone, Master feeder, fund of fund etc. under US-GAAP / IRFS. Responsible for drafting and preparing various schedule, notes to accounts , footnote support and disclosures(US GAAP and IFRS) Prepare reconciliation between Financial Statements and general ledger and identify gaps. Prepare reconciliation between Financial Statements and NAV Computation file and identify gaps Performing various prework like preparation and review of P&L allocation, roll forward of FS ahead of initial draft preparation of various funds. Analyzing and processing Clients and Auditors comments and creating comment tracker for any clarification and document it for future reference. Analyze, reconcile, and review all accounts under their responsibility by performing a variance analysis of corresponding revenue/balance sheet items, highlighting trends, and following up on questions/ concerns Assists with audit requests from External Audit, Regulators, and internal control teams. Update and review mapping tables for Financial Statements Prepares month-end substantiation packages for multiple legal entities. Responsible for handing Ad-Hoc Requests (profit center creation) / Intra day Job Requirement Two year post qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA with Financial Reporting experience. Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting with minimum years of financial reporting and analysis experience in Hedge Fund / private Equity Clients. Experience in financial reporting and analysis includes preparation of US GAAP and IFRS financial statements and financial reports for senior management.
