Job Description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Siemens Energy India Limited, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of clean energy. Your primary responsibility will be to handle all Customer and Factory related Mechanical engineering activities. This will involve performing Foundation design calculations for Gas Insulated Switchgear, preparing Support structure fabrication drawings, and interacting with Customers and manufacturing teams to resolve queries related to mechanical design calculations and fabrication of support structures for GIS. Additionally, you will be working for the High Voltage Manufacturing Hub. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1-2 years of work experience. You must have hands-on experience in Mechanical design engineering for Substations, including Air Insulated Substation and Gas Insulated Substation. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Robot, and Creo are essential. A strong technical background and a deep understanding of international and Indian standards are required. You should also possess hands-on Mechanical design experience for multiple projects in substation design and have a thorough understanding of customer specifications for various clients.
