GET – Mechanical Maintenance

To assist the mechanical maintenance team in maintaining and improving the reliability, performance, and safety of plant machinery through hands-on training and structured learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and assist in the maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, gearboxes, fans, conveyors, and utility systems.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities under supervision.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis during equipment breakdowns.
• Work with senior engineers in overhauling, repairing, and installation of mechanical components.
• Understand technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and standard maintenance procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities including checklists, logbooks, and failure reports.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Learn and apply TPM, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
