Mechanical Design & Product Development Design and develop robust, functional, and aesthetically refined mechanical components and assemblies tailored for EV and robotic platforms. Lead design projects from concept to prototype, focusing on performance, durability, and manufacturability in defence-grade systems. Perform detailed 3D CAD modelling using tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD. Vehicle Packaging & System Integration Plan and optimize the layout of major components (e.g., battery packs, motors, suspension systems, sensors) to ensure compact packaging, structural integrity, and serviceability. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate all systems within confined spaces without compromising performance. Vehicle Dynamics & Structural Optimization Design suspension systems and vehicle dynamics for terrain-adaptable robotic mobility. Analyse and tune kinematics, weight distribution, and ground clearance for off-road and all-terrain stability. Conduct Finite Element Method (FEM) analyses to validate structures under high loads and harsh environments. Powertrain & Sustainability Initiatives Support the design and integration of electric drivetrains and thermal systems in both wheeled and tracked platforms.
