Gas Distrubution - MECH Semiconductor Domain

You will be participating in a Walk-in Drive for Gas Distribution in the Semiconductor Domain on the 12th of July 2025 at Bangalore ITPL. As a Mechanical Engineer in this role, your key responsibilities will include developing, designing, or modifying mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope under guidance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for extended design roles related to Simulation requirements, interpreting simulation data, and providing valuable solutions for further optimizations. Additionally, you will be involved in product design & drafting of various components using CAD tools such as UG NX, Creo, and Inventor, as well as specifying and reviewing engineering documentation. Your primary job responsibilities will revolve around gas distribution system design, component selections, and the design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical tooling and fixturing. You will also be responsible for selecting OEM components like regulators, valves, UHP fittings, and vacuum sensors, as well as performing engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision. Hands-on experience in the assembly of vacuum chamber/exhaust/gas delivery systems or subsystems, preparing DOE, and validating the assembly with the required outcome will be crucial. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry work experience, preferably in the Semiconductor sector. Demonstrating conceptual and practical expertise in your discipline, as well as basic knowledge of related disciplines, will be essential. You should possess knowledge of mechanical engineering design, heat transfer, engineering drawings, GD&T/ASME standards, SEMI, ANSI, ISO standards, materials & manufacturing processes, numerical methods, AutoCAD, TCE, SolidWorks, UG NX/Inventor, and analysis. In terms of business expertise, you are expected to have knowledge of best practices and understand how your area integrates with others in the market. You may act as a resource for colleagues with less experience, lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements, and solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Your impact will be felt across a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams, working within broad guidelines and policies.
