Fund Raising Officer

The ideal candidate for this role should have a Graduate or Postgraduate degree, preferably an MBA/MSW or PG in Social Development. You should possess 1-3 years of experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development, and resource mobilization within the NGO/CSR sector. It is mandatory to have knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) guidelines as per Schedule VII of Section 135, Companies Act 2013, as well as experience in CSR proposals and grant writing. As a Business Development professional at Third Planet Foundation, your responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, and developing a business development strategy based on organizational objectives and community needs. You will need to research and stay updated on CSR needs, opportunities, grants, and funding from corporates and PSUs in India. Building and maintaining relationships with partners, targeting new clients, and developing custom business development proposals will be crucial aspects of your role. You will be involved in the end-to-end business development cycle, from identifying potential partners to signing project agreements. Collaboration with other departments/divisions and management towards achieving business development targets will also be essential. Furthermore, maintaining records, MIS, and databases related to business development activities will be part of your routine. The successful candidate should be passionate about the sector, proactive, self-driven, and persuasive. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with strong interpersonal skills are required. Being a good team player and having the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are also important attributes for this role.
