As a Full Stack Developer in the IMS Data Management R&D team at BMC, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of software products under the mentorship of industry experts. Our IZOT IMS Data Management R&D team strives to create cutting-edge solutions that help global organizations efficiently manage their IMS environments, ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of their business applications that handle vast amounts of data and workloads. We are looking for a talented and innovative Product Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a forward-thinking mindset and be adept at applying design thinking principles to address complex technological challenges faced by large organizations. You should have a solid understanding of product domains, Agile software development methodologies, and the product development and maintenance processes. To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills and experiences to the table: - 3-5 years of experience in designing interactive user experiences for technology products catering to medium to large customer bases. - Proficiency in front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap. - Hands-on experience with Angular 2+ version is a prerequisite. - Strong technical skills in Core Java, multi-threading, and problem-solving using data structures and algorithms. - Expertise in Object-Oriented application design and development. - Knowledge and experience with various database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2). - Familiarity with Agile development using tools like Jira and source code management tools like GIT or ISPW. - Proficiency in developing scripts for effective utilization of test automation and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Selenium, RFT, and UFT. - Understanding of UX design standards and best practices, along with the ability to prototype interactive designs using various design tools and technologies. - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. - A strong grasp of the software development process. While these skills are preferred, our team is dedicated to helping you enhance the following abilities: - Understanding of AI/ML and Gen AI technologies. - Exposure to IT Service Management, ITIL, and operations within Enterprise IT support teams.
