Full Stack Developer (Node.js + Angular)

Join our team at Global Software Solutions, a strategic tech partner to leading banks in the UAE. We are currently hiring experienced Full Stack Engineers (Node.js + Angular) to work from our ODC in Bengaluru on a cutting-edge banking transformation project. You should have a Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). With a minimum of 5 years of hands-on coding experience, you should be proficient in AngularJS, HTML, and CSS for developing high-performance enterprise applications, both Web & Mobile. Your skills should include creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components, as well as developing custom and general-use modules extending AngularJS core functionalities. You must have experience in architecting and automating build processes for production using task runners or scripts. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of development experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and databases is required, along with at least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript. Solid experience in performance tuning, debugging, and application monitoring is essential, and domain experience in Banking or Retail is mandatory. Your technical skills should include writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, as well as the ability to coordinate workflow between graphic designer, HTML coder, and self. Deep knowledge of CSS/JS methods for performant visual effects and maintaining framerate above 30fps is expected, along with a strong understanding of platform, database, API, caching, proxies, and other web services. You should be skilled in writing non-blocking code and have familiarity with advanced techniques like multi-threading. Code documentation using JSDoc or similar conventions is also necessary. Experience across front-end operations, from vanilla JS XHRs to custom wrappers around $resource, is essential. You should be proficient in Node.js, JavaScript, Angular Material, and Bootstrap, and familiar with external libraries like Devolte and store management tools. Expertise in building scalable, highly available RESTful APIs using Node.js, practical experience with GraphQL, and a strong grasp of CI/CD principles are required. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments, familiarity with API gateway tools like 3Scale, and understanding of SSO and token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth) are important. Your expertise should also cover messaging/task queues including AWS, Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka. Functional skills such as adherence to best practices in coding, security, unit testing, and documentation, along with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, are needed. You should have the ability to ensure quality of technical and application architecture across systems, be skilled in benchmarking and researching best-in-class technologies, and have prior experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech enterprise environments. When it comes to soft skills, you should have the ability to influence multiple teams on technical decisions, boosting productivity. Being a proactive self-starter with the ability to drive initiatives without supervision is important, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of full stack development experience and prior experience working on banking or fintech projects is highly preferred.
