What you work: As a senior engineer, you will have to handle all the issues raised by Customer and partner and should resolve the issues within the defined SLA. Resolutions and Root cause analysis should be shared to the customer within SLA. Preparing the Lab setup for troubleshooting purpose. Share weekly SLA to Customers and internally. Mandatory skills Should be proficient in Technologies like DWDM, OTN, FTTH (OLT & ONT), SDH equipment issues Troubleshooting and resolution Should have been a part of TAC2/3 team. Should have been a part of I&C and testing of DWDM and OTN equipment’s. Experience in NMS, L2-L3 switch, IP-MPLS TP. Experience in Troubleshooting and configuration. Desired skills: Familiarity with networking concepts such as BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), OSPF, IS-IS, VLAN and QoS. Fair knowledge in the major architectural components of an MPLS VPN. Should be able to debug the network issues, train & guide network engineers. Excellent Verbal/Written communication skills, Polite, Team player, Individual contributor, Self-learner. Familiar with coding/ scripting and automation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience: 3 to 6 years’ experience from Telecommunication or Networking background. Role & responsibilities - Responsible for planning and designing of optical fiber for FTTx networks (new network deployments and network upgrades). - Preparation of high-level design, low-level design, detailed design, As-built design, material list (BoQ), solution specification document, site survey reports, test reports etc. -Understanding the engineering requirements of the customer -Scoping the project to ensure the efforts and build a timeplan - Laying out process to ensure a quality delivery - Interacting with the customer as a part of governance - Setting-up of design principles and rules. - Ensure high-level of quality is maintained at every level of network design. - Understand and validate existing network design documents.
