Floor Supervisor

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Floor Operations
• Manage day-to-day floor activities including inward, storage, picking, and dispatch processes.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and client-specific SLAs for every operation on the floor.
• Maintain optimal material flow to prevent bottlenecks and delays.
• Team Management & Deployment
• Supervise, allocate, and monitor floor staff (pickers, loaders, checkers, etc.).
• Conduct on-floor briefings, ensure proper shift planning, and resolve manpower issues.
• Train and guide team members on SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
• Order Fulfillment & Dispatch Supervision
• Oversee order processing, picking accuracy, packing quality, and timely dispatch.
• Verify dispatch documents (invoices, packing lists, e-way bills) and vehicle readiness.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and dispatch team for smooth loading operations.
• Inventory Control & Cycle Counting
• Conduct daily cycle counts (10–15 SKUs minimum) and submit reconciliation reports.
• Ensure timely identification and rectification of stock mismatches.
• Liaise with the inventory control team for periodic audits and stock accuracy.
• Process Compliance & Quality Checks
• Ensure tagging, segregation, and QC checks of returned or service material.
• Validate product condition before dispatch to avoid rejection or customer complaints.
• Monitor returns and defective stock handling with proper documentation.
• Customer & Interdepartmental Coordination
• Coordinate with client representatives for scheduling, updates, and escalations.
• Work closely with inventory, transport, MIS, and customer service teams for seamless operations.
• Resolve floor-level issues affecting service levels or TAT.
• Safety, Equipment & Housekeeping
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, including use of PPE, fire safety, and equipment handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized floor; report any hazards or breakdowns promptly.
• Monitor usage and upkeep of MHEs (forklifts, trolleys, etc.).
• Reporting & MIS
• Submit daily performance reports including dispatch status, manpower utilization, and floor productivity.
• Support management with weekly/monthly operational insights and issue logs.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements.
• Participate in regular review meetings and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
