Field Executive CPP Operations

As a Field Executive CPP Mechanical at Reliance Industries Limited, your primary responsibility is to operate gas turbines, steam turbines, and auxiliary boilers to ensure the smooth and safe operations of the plant. Your role is crucial in meeting production targets while upholding safety and quality standards as per RIL policies and guidelines. You will be expected to conduct day-to-day activities in compliance with relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent work during the shift. Additionally, staying informed about leading practices and trends and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives will be essential. In terms of operations, you will need to ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and best practices related to Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS). Operating gas, steam, and auxiliary boilers, conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis, supporting minor projects, and ensuring HSEF compliance are key aspects of your responsibilities. Safety and risk assessment will be a critical part of your role. You will support regular risk assessment activities, conduct toolbox talks before job execution, and execute process-related activities in line with safety operating procedures to mitigate process failures and reduce accidents. Reporting near-miss incidents, adhering to safety guidelines, and following safety management protocols are vital to maintaining a safe work environment. Your success in this role will be measured by the number of workplace-related incidents in the plant and the number of field rounds conducted. In terms of your operating network, you will collaborate internally with the Site Operations Team, Compliance Team, Health & Safety Team, and HR Team. Externally, you will engage with vendors, regulators, and local communities. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) and have 3-5 years of experience as a field executive in a power plant. Functional competencies required include knowledge of general operations, manufacturing, troubleshooting, substation handling, equipment start-up and shutdown, and maintenance handover & takeover.
