Ensure microbial contamination is within permissible limits. C. Fermentation: Daily monitoring of pH, temperature, residual sugar, and ethanol content. Distillation & MSDH (Molecular Sieve Dehydration): Monitor ethanol purity, fusel oil content, aldehydes, and methanol. Ensure anhydrous ethanol meets BIS/IS specs. Sample and analyze condensate and fusel oil. E. Evaporation, Dryer, Decanter: QC of syrup, spent wash, and DDGS (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles). Monitor solids content and BOD/COD of effluents. Ensure moisture content and particle size of DDGS meet standards. F. Cooling Towers & Utilities: Check water quality parameters (pH, hardness, TDS, microbial load). Ensure proper dosing of biocides and descaling agents. Maintain logbooks for tower water quality. G.
