Problem Solving: Ability to identify and solve challenges faced by street food vendors that can directly impacts on their revenue
Field Work: Comfortable on fieldwork, actively engaging with street food vendors to understand their needs and challenges
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Kannada, especially in the context of engaging street food vendors.
Office Work: Competent in handling office tasks related to online platform facilitation, documentation, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Onboarding: Identify and onboard eligible street food vendors in designated areas by building rapport and explaining the benefits of the program.
Field Support & Relationship Building: Maintain regular visits to assigned vendors to understand their needs, provide guidance, and build long-term trust.
Offline Intervention Execution: Implement suitable offline support activities (eg, branding, Marketing) to help vendors grow their business.
Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor vendor progress, gather feedback, and submit timely field reports to the program team for review and planning.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in the development sector or a related field is preferable.
Proficient in Kannada language (verbal).
Empathetic communication and interpersonal skills, especially in engaging with street food vendors.
Comfortable working in both field and office environments.
Possession of a two-wheeler and legal drivers license.
Located in Bengaluru or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
