Role & responsibilities Implement and monitor systems that drive the key operational performance. This will include and is not limited to capex projects costs and timelines, monitoring cost reduction programs, new customer acquisition, and product price performance amongst other things. Documentation, Collation, and presentation of key data and critical parameters in compact and coherent manner to BU Head office. Weekly Update Collate and analyse weekly update for each plant on customer quality issues, IR related issue, major breakdowns, safety issues. Monthly Update Financial and Operational MIS Reports Highlight the key variances of Top line and bottom line, and tracking make-up plan to achieve the budgeted profitability. Support the BU Head Office in the business performance review analysing reports and highlighting areas of concern and presenting recommendations. Collation of data for performing scenario analysis, competitors performance analysis, and sectoral analysis that aid in providing a robust decision support system to the BU Head Office. Deriving insights from Market Intelligence which includes Economic Indicators, Key Industry trends, Market Size, OEM wise Vehicle Sales mapping, Product Segment wise Market Potential, Developments on technology front especially from European & North American markets Preparing the Competition Analysis & presenting it to management on various factors like: Financials, Investments, Business Operating Model, Product Segments, Pricing, Manufacturing Expansion, Technology Upgradation & Strategic Initiative Internet of Things for Operational Excellence, Digitization of Safety Walk. Usage of year-on-year productivity enhancement methodologies, cost optimization, account mining and VA/ VE
