Engineer - Process Engineering Department

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Production Engineering activities for Electronics Assembly, SAS, ESHL, and Immobi lines.
   
2. Attend to daily process-related issues and provide effective resolutions.
   
3. Initiate and implement corrective & preventive actions for in-process defects, machine issues, and safety concerns.
   
4. Ensure timely execution of periodic activities such as Process Capability Studies, Gauge R&R, and MSA Studies.
   
5. Prepare and maintain technical documentation like QC Process Charts, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, Standard Manhour Charts, Layouts, and Examination Sheets.
   
6. Ensure timely implementation of Engineering Change Instructions (ECI).
   
7. Prepare schedules and monitor timely execution for new project implementations.
   
8. Draft equipment specifications for new machines or modifications to existing machines.
   
9. Plan and execute Safety Promise actions.
   
10. Coordinate and follow up with suppliers for equipment development.
    
11. Identify, develop, and align suppliers with TRMN requirements.
    
12. Conduct equipment inspections and machine capability studies at supplier locations.
    
13. Plan and execute monthly GORIKA activities.
    
14. Manage quotations, PR raising, and follow-up for material procurement as per PE requirements.
    
15. Conduct Pp/Ppk studies for new layout trials.
    
16. Prepare drawings for modification of jigs and fixtures.
    
17. Provide documentation for line handover to maintenance, including critical spares list and periodic check sheets.
    
18. Ensure production teams are well-trained on new products and assembly lines.
    
19. Facilitate smooth coordination between maintenance and production for seamless operations.
    
20. Prepare ISO/EMS documents in line with company standards.
    
21. Develop problem and countermeasure sheets and ensure timely action and closure.
    
22. Study and improve process constraints and productivity issues; plan countermeasures.
    
23. Engage in self-skill development on SMT machines and process operations.
    
24. Identify and implement process improvements and Kaizen activities.
    
25. Audit and ensure stock-taking activities are performed accurately.
    
26. Prepare facilities like racks, chutes, etc., for new product development.
    
27. Execute any additional tasks assigned by Assistant Manager / Manager / Divisional Head.
    
28. Prepare equipment installation reports and ensure timely GRN closure.
