Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Firmware Design Engineer-2 to join the Architecture team focused on FPGA architecture modeling and firmware engineering. This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn, innovate and grow. Role/Responsibility specifics: This is a full-time Firmware Engineer-2 position located in Pune, India. The candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of firmware for embedded systems. The candidate will have to collaborate with the hardware and software teams to integrate debug and release firmware. The candidate will actively participate in Code Reviews to ensure code quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams that are spread globally. Document firmware design and development processes implemented by the candidate. Required Skills: BS/MS/PhD Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. 3+ years of relevant experience Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers. Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++. Familiarity with Python and shell scripting is desirable. Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Open to work with multiple groups across different sites and time zones. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of digital design, CMOS technology, basic electronics is an added plus.
