Engineer - Facade Access

The role involves collaborating with the wider design team to provide guidance on integrating faade access systems into projects. You will be responsible for leading the design process to achieve a balance between cost, aesthetic impact, and functionality while adhering to best health and safety practices. Additionally, you will be tasked with producing faade access strategy reports at key project stages and preparing Employers Requirements Documentation and System Specifications for faade access systems. You will need to review contractor drawings, conduct site inspections during construction, and ensure compliance with specifications, design intent, and relevant legislation. Managing multiple faade access consulting projects concurrently and engaging directly with clients will be a crucial aspect of the role. Furthermore, conducting research on industry trends and emerging technologies related to faade access will be expected. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with faade access systems, either in a consultancy or contractor capacity. Demonstrable knowledge of faade access systems, their performance, operation, engineering standards, practices, regulations, and legislation is essential. An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a relevant academic background will excel in this role.
