ELV TECHNICIAN

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while ensuring that all work is done in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. You will also play a key role in assisting with the installation and configuration of ELV systems such as CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, PA, BMS, VDP, and more. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reading and interpreting technical diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings, conducting regular inspections, and performing preventive maintenance on electrical systems. You will be expected to identify electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks effectively. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be required to maintain tools, materials, and cleanliness at the site. It is crucial to ensure proper documentation of your work and report progress to the site supervisor in a timely manner. To excel in this role, you should possess skills in fire alarm systems, ELV systems installation, public address systems, technical diagram interpretation, troubleshooting, coordinating with engineers, building management systems, repairing fixtures, video door phones, CCTV, access control, equipment maintenance, electrical wiring, documentation, and preventive maintenance.
