Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the electronic data processing department, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement data processing strategies that align with organizational goals.
Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Coordinate with IT staff and other departments to optimize data handling and processing procedures.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of data processing hardware and software.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data processing effectiveness.
Ensure data security and compliance with regulations and company policies.
Prepare and manage budgets for data processing projects and initiatives.
Identify and resolve technical issues and establish best practices for troubleshooting.
Develop training programs for staff on new systems and technologies.
Analyze data processing performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements.
Work on projects to enhance data collection, storage, and retrieval systems.
Maintain documentation related to data processing systems, procedures, and policies.
Act as a liaison between the data processing department and other departments, providing technical support as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to data processing and management.
