Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a technical specialist, preferably with expertise in mathematics, effectively bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Will work with various in-house built digital products, providing technical leadership and support to the team. We provide project and squad goals, prioritize and complete initiatives, and deliver results in a product-led, empowered environment. Ability to lead multiple collaborators, and software development and engineering experience are important for success in this role.

What you will deliver

Engage regularly with Upstream exploration engineering and projects disciplines to gather requirements and understand problems.

Apply mathematical principles to solve problems.

Lead / Mentor Junior Developers.

Design and document sophisticated software components, services, and platforms, while implementing robust, code with clear documentation.

Deliver customer value iteratively, serve as a technical lead, and own projects end-to-end. Communicating status and changes to stakeholders, and collaborating with internal and external teams to bring new platforms to market are key responsibilities.

Maintain and enhance software frameworks, mentor other engineers, participate in code reviews, and preferably resolve platform-related issues.

Support audit teams for security, software licensing, and regulatory audits, and implement new controls and procedures to address compliance gaps or risks.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing software applications, addressing issues raised by business partners and implementing improvements. Occasionally, quick action may be required outside normal working hours.

Must Have:

Proficiency in React web development, JavaScript, C#.NET, SQL DB, Analyse existing Excel models.
