Role Purpose Microsoft AD/Exchange/M365/O365 Architect is responsible for delivery of IT Infrastructure elements of Directory and mailing system. Do Understand the clients overall AD and Exchange/O365/M365 email service architecture. Leads the design/ delivery of email service architecture both Microsoft and Non-Microsoft The consultant/architect should be capable of solving complex technical problems, communicating technical concepts to clients and peers with mixed levels of technical abilities, and making sound technical and architectural decisions independently. Establish and adhere to IT industry best practices and standards as it relates to Architecting/Designing Clients messaging systems. Lead / participate in messaging technical team. Experience (Essential) Degree with 10+ years in IT 6+ Years of Microsoft Mailing system and Active Directory Experience. Designing & Architecting Complex cross forest/cross platform mailing system migration. Designing & Architecting Complex AD Forest consolidation. Designing & Architecting Complex O365/M365 Tenant consolidation and separation Deep migration experience i.e., On-Prem Exchange to O365/M365, O365/M365 tenant to tenant migration, MS native Cross-Tenant migration Should know entire suite of M365 migration (SharePoint, One drive, MS TEAMs, Power BI etc.) On-prem to Tenant, Tenant to Tenant migration. Should be able to coordinate Intune MDM solutions , application packaging for autopilot through Intune /SCCM. Coordinate with security team to ensure modern authentications and conditional access policies are being applied through Azure AD / Entra ID and have the key knowledge on Azure AD B2B, cross tenant access and cross tenant synchronization solution for various M365 tenants and enterprise applications. Mailing system migration project experience from non- Microsoft to Microsoft or vice-versa would be added advantage. Setting up Office 365/Microsoft 365 in complex multi forest scenario. IT Infrastructure domain knowledge is a must. Deep skills on Exchange 2010/2013/2016/2019/O365/M365 Design / Migration / Implementation and Support Deep skills on Active Directory 2008/2012/2016/2019 design and implementation Exposure to multiple messaging products would be added advantage. Strong Active Directory consolidation and migration skills Strong knowledge of Identity Sync such as Users, Groups and other objects/attributes sync from On-Prem AD to Entra ID/Azure AD through Entra ID/Azure AD Connect Understanding Azure AD/Entra ID B2B solution (cross-tenant access/sync) Strong Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 skills. Strong competency in PowerShell/vbscript/WMI scripting to automate daily tasks. Strong knowledge on third party migration tools such as Quest ODM/Binary Tree DirSync/BitTitan etc. Advanced Microsoft Certification like MCSE, Process orientation. Good and effective written and oral communication Experience (Preferred) Experience of working in international business environment Experience in handling MS Exchange/O365/M365 Migration Project
