Job Description Designation: Sales Officer/ Sales Executive Role & responsibilities Responsible in ensuring product availability at all relevant channels Responsible for planning & achieving monthly/ yearly targets Responsible in maintaining and enhancing trade relations Responsible all activations (Trade / Consumer) & merchandising (Visibility) programs, participation in pet shows , meeting Veterinary Doctors. Overall accountable for all operational programs in the assigned area. Management of the Distributor point in terms of compliance, efficiency, track of delivery from distributor to consumer, manage distributor's overhead expenses and ensure payments for the same. Management of the Secondary Sales Force in terms of compliance, Trainings, performance evaluation, coordination and communication between them and the distributor and optimization of their expenditure. Responsible towards include identifying opportunities and potential in the area, setting monthly, quarterly and yearly target for distributors and ensuring product availability and merchandising. Role & responsibilities P osition-Sales Manager (Pet Feed) Division Role & responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across assigned territories. Develop and implement go-to-market strategies specific to regional consumer and trade dynamics. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights to HO. Channel Development Appoint, onboard, and manage distributors, stockists, and key pet retailers. Conduct regular business reviews and ensure ROI for channel partners. Organize retailer meets, vet engagement programs, and influencer-driven campaigns. Team Management Lead a team of field sales executives (if applicable), ensuring regular training, target alignment, and performance tracking. Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and ethical sales practices. Operations & Forecasting Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability. Monitor stock movement, ageing inventory, and ensure efficient order planning. Report sales numbers, collection status, and funnel progression weekly. Customer & Market Engagement Build strong relationships with veterinary doctors, breeders, NGOs, and pet shop owners. Drive brand visibility and trust in both B2B and B2C segments. Lead participation in trade events, expos, and pet forums. Preferred candidate profile Skills Required: Languages -Hindi, English Must Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within P et Industry (DOG,FISH,CAT,BIRDS AND OTHERS ) food product s with Minimum 1 year of Experience Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Excellent leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of building and scaling sales teams.
