As the Director of QA Engineering at Arrcus, located in Bengaluru, India, you will have the opportunity to drive and own quality deliverables on customer commitments. Your role will involve developing and executing a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with the company's business goals, with a strong focus on automation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and support, will be essential to ensure quality across the product lifecycle. You will be responsible for driving execution excellence in all Test functions, including Automation, Functional, System, and Regression Test. Establishing QA goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be crucial for maintaining consistency. Defining and maintaining quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures will also fall under your responsibilities. Leading and mentoring a team of QA managers, automation, and solution engineers will be a key aspect of your role. Providing insights and recommendations for quality improvement and taking proactive measures to address customer concerns and enhance product quality will be part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, managing QA budgets, staffing, and resource allocation, as well as making decisions regarding tooling and technology investments, will be vital to the success of the QA team. You will be expected to foster a culture of quality, automation, and innovation within the QA team. Continuous evaluation and improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools will be essential to ensure high-quality standards are maintained. **Education/Qualifications:** - BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent degree - Ability to write high-quality Python code - In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and tools for both manual and automated testing - Familiarity with network testing tools and platforms such as Wireshark, Ixia, Spirent, or similar - Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIP/JNCIE demonstrating a strong foundation in networking technologies are a plus **Bonus:** - Prior work experience in a startup or venture-backed company is a big plus Arrcus offers generous compensation packages including equity, medical insurance, parental leave, and sabbatical leave after 4 years of service.
