Digital Technology Expert

The digital technology expert will be responsible for overseeing all web and mobile platforms, infrastructure, and product development for our digital properties. You should have a deep understanding of the media industry, cloud technologies, and leading high-performance digital teams. Key responsibilities include leading digital platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and video infrastructure. You will be managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) to ensure high availability and performance. Additionally, you will oversee development teams and cross-functional workflows related to CMS, SEO, and UI/UX. Driving automation, real-time content delivery, and data-driven strategies will also be a part of your role. Requirements for this position include a minimum of 10 years of experience in digital/IT leadership roles within the media or tech industry. You should possess strong hands-on expertise in cloud services (specifically AWS), CMS, caching technologies (CloudFront/Varnish/Redis), and APIs. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like PHP, ASP, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL is essential. An in-depth understanding of CMS platforms such as WordPress and custom systems, as well as familiarity with web technologies and servers like Apache and Nginx, is required. Experience with search technologies like Solr and Elasticsearch, analytics, and broadcast-digital integration is highly valued. Proven team and project management skills are crucial for this role, along with prior experience in managing multilingual and high-traffic digital platforms.,
