Digital Engineering Networking Engineer Specialist

NTT DATA is looking for a Digital Engineering Networking Engineer Specialist to join their team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As a part of this inclusive and forward-thinking organization, you will be responsible for handling tasks related to networking engineering and support. You should have a solid understanding of how IPSEC VPN works and be familiar with the operations of common firewall vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, and Dell. Experience in Azure vWAN network operation, firewall log analysis, and VPN log management is required. Additionally, you should be well-versed in Routing Intent and Routing Policies in secure Azure vWAN, and have the ability to perform packet capture and analysis for advanced troubleshooting. In this role, you will assist customers during VPN troubleshooting, set up advanced monitoring and data collection from remote VPN sites, and maintain and update network documentation to support the team. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP is essential, along with the ability to work on On-Call rotations and independently in project scenarios. You should also be capable of recommending solutions by performing Proof of Concepts (POCs), debugging complex issues, and handling P1/P2 calls and escalations. Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary for engaging with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of overall operational experience, including 7 years in Network Engineering/Support and 4 years in a diverse cloud support environment. Additionally, 3 years of experience in Network and Automation is preferred. Preferred certifications for this role include CISM, CCNA, or CISA, as well as the Azure Solutions Architect Professional Certification. A Four Year BS/BA in Information Technology degree or equivalent experience is also desirable.
