Development Associate - Assistant Manager (Solar)

As a Development Associate in the Solar Industry based in Delhi, you should be equipped with a B. Tech/M. Tech in Energy Technology/Energy Systems/Renewable Energy and possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the Solar Sector. Previous experience in consultancy and analyst roles is highly desirable for this position. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed market research in the US solar energy sector to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscapes. You will be expected to stay updated on federal, state, and local solar energy policies and regulations and provide insights on how these factors impact project feasibility and profitability. Your role will also involve preparing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) that cover technical, financial, and regulatory aspects of solar projects. Additionally, you should have exceptional presentation and communication skills to effectively convey complex data and findings to internal and external stakeholders through reports, presentations, and client meetings. Collaboration with clients to understand their needs, address inquiries, and offer expert guidance is essential. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop effective solar energy strategies and solutions. Continuous learning is encouraged to keep abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and financial innovations in the solar energy domain. Prior experience in renewable energy consulting or a related field would be advantageous, and knowledge of finance is considered a plus.
