Dear Candidate,
We are looking for a Vehicle Integration Engineer with a strong background in product engineering, structural and sheet metal design, and cross-functional collaboration for MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) machines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Vehicle Layout and integration from concept to final design
Design & develop structural assemblies, welded structures, and sheet metal parts
Manage end-to-end delivery from concept to engineering drawing release
Handle component selection, field issue resolution, feature enhancement, and cost optimization (VA/VE)
Conduct design reviews, concept presentations, and layout coordination across aggregates
Collaborate with Testing, QA, Production, Sourcing, and Suppliers throughout project life cycle
Ensure BOM preparation, change management, and timely design release
Work on proto builds, support assembly and on-ground integration
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience in Product Design & Engineering
Expertise in Vehicle Layout, Structural Parts, Sheet Metal Design
Strong command over UG NX, Teamcenter, PLM systems
Good understanding of Hydraulics, Electricals, Transmission systems
Solid grip on GD&T, manufacturing processes, and standards.
Knowledge of BOM, design release process, and prototype development
Strong communication, team coordination, and Right First Time approach
