Position Overview Job Title: FinOps Application Engineer & ITAO, AVP Location: Pune, India Role Description: The DB Cloud FinOps function drives financial accountability of cloud consumption, providing distributed teams with insights into their consumption, spend and optimisation / control options to ensure cloud usage is managed efficiently. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in GCP services, FinOps and IT Application management. The applicant will be the IT Owner of the FinOps Application platform on our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. The FinOps Application consists of our GCP landing zone (GCP projects, resources datasets) and our FinOps Looker instance. This together with our team’s skillset is the strategic cloud cost management function for the bank. The role covers E2E platform management, which includes creation and maintenance of BigQuery datasets and views, administration of billing exports, deployment of Cloudfunctions, API integrations and compliance adherence. Job Overview As a Data Engineering Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing robust data engineering solutions that support critical business analytics and reporting. Essential Functions Designing and Building Data Warehouse Solutions: Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data. Technical Expertise: Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise data warehouses using various database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse). Strong proficiency in SQL and Python Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive). Strong hands-on experience in either of the cloud platforms - AWS, Azure.
