Data Engineer

You are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Data Engineer to join the Information Technology team at our rapidly growing corporate activities. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your skills in data warehousing, business intelligence, and databases such as Snowflake, ANSI SQL, SQL Server, and T-SQL. You will support programming/software development using ETL and ELT tools like dbt, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS. Designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting business intelligence systems primarily using Microsoft Power BI will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and documenting user requirements, participating in software validation processes, creating software applications following the software development lifecycle, and providing end-user support for applications. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering. Knowledge of developing dimensional data models, understanding of Star Schema and Snowflake schema designs, solid ETL development and reporting knowledge, and familiarity with Snowflake cloud data warehouse, Fivetran data integration, and dbt transformations are preferred. Proficiency in Python, REST API, SQL Server databases, and bonus knowledge of C#, Azure development is desired. Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills are essential for this role.
