You will be working for a direct-to-consumer (D2C) lifestyle brand that advocates the SAADAA way of living and creates better basics for everyone. As one of the top 1% Shopify stores in India, the company has grown from a 100 sq. ft. garage to a 150+ people team in just 4 years, all while being bootstrapped and profitable with industry-leading benchmarks. As a Scriptwriter at the company, your primary responsibility will be to bring the brand's voice to life through compelling, thoughtful, and emotion-led narratives. You will be crafting original and engaging scripts for various content formats including campaign videos, product films, brand stories, founder content, and social reels. Collaboration with the marketing, design, and video teams will be essential to ensure that the scripts align with the brand voice and philosophy. Adaptability in writing style across different platforms and openness to feedback for continuous improvement will be key aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Film, Marketing, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in scriptwriting, content writing, or advertising copy. A strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling through video, digital campaigns, or branded content is required. Your command of language, structure, tone, and emotion should be excellent, and you should possess a curious and observant nature with a keen eye for detail. Previous experience working with production teams or understanding visual direction will be considered a bonus.
