Creative Design Lead

As a Creative Design Lead at Sundew, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing creative strategies that align with the company's goals and enhance brand identity across various visual touchpoints. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the design team delivers high-quality, user-centered design solutions across all projects. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members. Identifying skill gaps and providing training and development opportunities for the team will also be a key aspect of your leadership and management responsibilities. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, you will be tasked with understanding their needs and translating them into effective design solutions. Presenting creative design ideas and pitches to clients will be essential to showcase the value and impact of our design services. You will also participate in hands-on design tasks, including UI and UX design, utilizing Adobe tools, Figma, and Web Flow to create compelling design assets and prototypes. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design into the product development process will be crucial for driving development strategies that enhance product functionality and user experience. Staying ahead of industry trends, tools, and techniques will be necessary to keep the design team at the cutting edge of creative excellence. You will be expected to continuously incorporate new techniques and approaches to improve the design process and outcomes. The ideal candidate for this position will have 12+ years of hands-on design experience, a strong portfolio showcasing creative work, and proven experience in managing a design team. Proficiency in Adobe tools, Figma, and Web Flow is required, along with an excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design methodologies. If you possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, along with the ability to think strategically and creatively with a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.
