Counselor

Job Description As a Counselor at Safeducate Learning, your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance, support, and counseling services to learners. Your role will involve sourcing and generating potential student leads through telecalling, engaging with them, and converting them into enrolled participants for the training program. You will be expected to counsel students and parents over the phone or in person, conduct regular follow-ups to ensure participation, and follow up on dropouts. Effective communication skills are crucial for this role. You must maintain excellent communication, be presentable over the phone, and engage effectively with students and stakeholders. Data management is also a key aspect of the job, as you will be required to collect and maintain student dossiers and databases, track candidate progress, and maintain records in Excel through telecalling activities. To excel in this role, you should possess counseling, mentoring, and guidance skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping others. You should be able to assess learner needs and provide appropriate support, and have knowledge of skill development and training programs. Previous experience working in education, social work, or counseling field, along with a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field, are preferred qualifications.,
