Your role will include, but is not limited to: Review and develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) in conjunction with Process and Mechanical Engineers. Select, apply, and specify instrumentation required to support processes. Develop Instrument Data Sheets and lists, Panel layouts and details. Interact and coordinate with project management, vendors, clients, design members and fellow engineers to solve process engineering and piping issues. Produce and review 2D and 3D design drawings for facilities in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications, and procedures. Participate in multi-discipline coordination & clash checking efforts. Perform site surveys of existing services to ascertain "as-built" conditions. Support, by active participation, corporate and discipline-specific procedures, and policies. Contribute to the development of the Discipline knowledge base and standards. Perform self QA/QC on deliverables, as well as on deliverables by other engineers. Performs the tasks within the agreed-upon budget and schedule. Should be a team player and shall perform tasks individually when required. Follow company standards and procedures including design and QA checking. Provide I&C design to support process control and plant automation. Qualifications and Skillset: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or related field. 1+ years of I&C and Automation design experience in Process industries. Good knowledge of norms and standards related to Instrumentation engineering. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project). Technical and quality focus. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Good planning, organizational, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position. Job Purpose Will work within one of the assigned teams based on experience and business need: Project Engineering, Well Completions, Manifold & Interconnect, Drilling & Intervention, or New Product Development. MAIN TASKS: Consistently leads work packages and resources on a project basis. Ensures that project members understand business goals and creates energy and action toward those goals. Encourages and empowers others to achieve. Reviews and approves engineering designs (i.e. drawings, part reports, specifications, etc.) of existing and new technology or projects. Ensures that assignments meet standards and performance requirements within area of expertise. Actively manages and provides timely updates to engineering schedule, and engineering updates to the project and engineering management team. Experience in reviewing & approving engineering designs, documents, layouts, calculations and interpreting FEA/ structural analysis results. Strong knowledge of engineering discipline and physical modeling techniques (solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer) is required. Experience conducting design analysis - hoop stress, flexibility, buckling, burst, fatigue, etc. Work experience must include experience with various ASME, API, NORSOK, and DNV Codes and Standards as it relates to subsea equipment design and manufacturing. Exposure to various manufacturing processes - forging, hot and cold extrusion, cladding, HIP, induction bending etc Exposure to welding codes and practices - ASME IX and API 1104. Exposure to NDE codes and practices - UT, PAUT, PT, RT, MPI per ASME V. Ability to manage the engineering projects within specified schedule and budget.
